Where the numbers come from
Only one MBA exam body, GMAC, publishes a table that turns a score into a percentile. For every other exam, the calculators use estimates that prep institutes compile after each paper. The college predictors mark every cutoff as official, an estimate from a named source, or a past closing figure. Each tool names its sources, shows a range where sources differ, and says when the figures were last checked.
